Our last Social event of the season took place on December 5, 2009 at 6:30 PM at the Atwood Lake Lodge. This was our annual Christmas Party. We had approximately 70 sailors present for the event. Commodore Brian Standiford welcomed members and their guests to the Christmas Event. He asked all of us to continue to keep our fellow distressed sailors in our prayers. Bob Kuchner lead us in prayer prior to the evening meal. After dinner, Brian opened the meeting to get the clubs business settled. Marcia Enslen gave us a great Treasurers report followed by Glenn Patterson taking control of the meeting as parlimentarian to complete the Annual voting for 2010 Officers.The slate presented was as follows:
Commodore – Brian Standiford, will serve another term.
Treasurer – Marcia Enslen, will serve another term.
Secretary – Amy Wahl, will serve another term.
Board of Directors:
3 year term - Susan Hoopingarner 2009 was re-elected and will serve until 2012.
We needed a new member to replace Dave Dale 2009, Steve Mitcham was elected and will serve until 2012.
Joe Sirgo was appointed as Race Chairman for 2010. We still need a new Social Chairperson and a Membership Chairman.
